High Speed Rail Corporation of India Limited (HSRC) has been formed on the directions of Ministry of Railways, Government of India, for development and implementation of high speed rail projects. NHSRCL is implementing the project of high speed train corridor between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. The total length of the proposed High Speed Railway Corridor works out to be 508.17km. NABARD came into existence on 12 July 1982 by transferring the agricultural credit functions of RBI and refinance functions of the then Agricultural Refinance and Development Corporation (ARDC).
